My condolences.... it crazy how I found out you had passed ...... you are reunited with yr sweetheart. I was like dang I have to still find a mechanic. BUT LOOK FOR MY SISTER SHE CAN MAKE YALL SOME OF MY POTATOES.... I TAUGHT HER .

Clyde's Obituary

Clyde Anthony Sims was born November 16, 1961, to Clyde Sims and Nellie Sims in Gary, IN. 

He married his high school sweetheart, Charlotte Daniels -Sims and to this union one son was born, Anthony Sims, and one daughter, Shannan Sims.

He transitioned this life December 31, 2025. 

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Daniels-Sims; son, Anthony Sims; father, Clyde Sims.

He leaves to cherish his only daughter, Shannah Sims; two sons: Darius Byrd and Carlton Sims, all of Gary, IN. Clyde also leaves behind his mother, Nellie Sims; five sisters: Brenda (Hugh) McField of Atlanta, Georgia; Lucille (Greg) Baker of Alabama; Voncile Sims, Tracey Sims-Williams of Merrillville, IN, and Natlie Sims of Indianapolis, IN; as well as two brothers: Michael (Vanessa) Sims of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Troy Sims of Gary, IN. Additionally, he is survived by his maternal in-laws, Deacon Alex and Evangelist Sadie F. Daniels of Morgan City, MS; Five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
