Clyde 's Obituaries

Clyde Roosevelt Snider, age 83 of Will Snider Road, Linwood passed way Friday August 25, 2017 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 Monday, August 28, 2017 at Tyro United Methodist Church where he was a member with Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde and Ruby Snider Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Clyde was born in Davidson county September 2, 1933 to Clyde Roosevelt Snider and Ruby Snider Snider. He was owner and operator of Long Meadow Dairy and served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mildred Jeanette Leonard Snider in 2001 and his loving daughter Luanne Wilson who passed away in 2008 and a brother, U.S. Snider.

Surviving are his sons, Kent Snider (Emily) and Shane Snider (Gina) all of Churchland; son-in-law, Monty Wilson of Churchland; grandchildren, Brandi Collins, Amber Allison, Kassie Snider, Carrie Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Dakota Snider, Madison Snider, Natalie Wilson, Camden Snider and Grayson Snider; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Adams (Maylon) and Sarah Troublefield (Braxton) of Churchland; brother, Robert Snider (Alice) of Churchland; his special friend, Mary Forrest and sister-in-law, Joyce Snider of Lexington.

The family would like to Thank Amber for all her love and support given to Clyde during the last two years of his life.
