Melvin, I just found out about Cody's passing. I am truly sorry for the pain you are feeling. There are no words of comfort. I do pray that time will let you heal. Again, truly sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathy, Melvin. You are living every parents worst nightmare and I just can't imagine the pain you are feeling. I am so sorry for the loss of Cody. He is a beautiful young man.

Cody's Obituary

Cody Alan Rogers, of Killeen, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2014. He was born March 1, 1991 to Shari Hahn and Melvin Rogers, Jr. in Newport News, Virginia.Cody will be remembered for his contagious smile, his humorous nature and his great love for the outdoors. He was a wonderful, caring and protective brother and son.Cody is survived by his loving parents; step-father, Kenton Hahn; sisters, Amy and Kristy Rogers; brothers, Robert Ruybal and Levi Rogers; grandparents, Melvin and Anne Rogers Sr., and Robert and Ann Thew; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and countless friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Harker Heights. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7PM. Officiating will be Pastor John Rogers. Interment will follow at Killeen Memorial Park. Services have been entrusted to Killeen Memorial Funeral Home.
