Memorial Magnolia Tree

Colton I remember when you and your family moved to Corpus Christi . You were a little boy at the time and what I remember most was how smart and funny you were. Your dad and mom and myself being on Young Life staff gave me a Birds Eye view of your growing up years. It was a joy to see you grow into the gentleman you grew into. We don’t understand God’s timing and ask why you were taken so young? But we don’t mourn like others and we have the knowledge through Jesus Christ that we will see...

Obituary

Colton's Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Colton Thomas White who left us far too soon on December 6, 2025, at the age of 31 in Leander, Texas.

Colton was born on October 12, 1994, in New Braunfels, Texas.  His childhood was spent in New Braunfels, Austin, Corpus Christi and San Antonio.  He enjoyed playing baseball and football.  He started college at Hardin Simmons University and finished with his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Sam Houston State University.

Colton started his career at Enterprise Rent-a-Car. He worked there for three and a half years, ending his time there as a Branch Manager in Killeen, Texas. He recently began work as a salesman at Custom Truck One Source which he loved and had a bright future.  Outside of work, Colton enjoyed deer and bird hunting, skeet shooting, scuba diving, roller coasters, deep conversations, lifting, the hottest of hot sauces and volunteering at his home church, One Mission Church in Leander.

Colton was loved and cherished by his family and friends.  He brought so much joy and laughter to us all. Above all else, he loved the Lord, his mother Shawna, father Ken, sister Mikaela and brother Carson deeply.  His time with us, while far too short, was filled with meaning, connection, and moments we will hold forever.

Colton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Joyce DeGlandon White and Benjamin Bruce White, MD, and his uncles – Philip Horace Bankston and Donald B. Haynes.

Colton is survived by his parents, Ken and Shawna White, his sister and brother-in-law, Mikaela (Aspen) Whitlock, and his brother, Carson White. His grandparents, Frank and Wendi Lucas.  His aunts, uncles and cousins: Sheryl Haynes and her children Mandi (Luke) Zitzman, Lucas (Kenna) Haynes, Collin (Kalyn) Haynes; Shelley and Drew Bless and their son Wyatt; Shandy and Gregg Young and their children Bailey, Baylor, Brody and Brooke; Shalynn and Sean Robinson and their children Taylor (Amanda) Robinson, Brooks (Crystal) Robinson, Reagan, Ayla and Kauri; Diane and Jeff White and their children Cameron (Paige) White, and Connor; Janie White and Bruce White and their children Nicole (Nathan) Tindall, Shelby (Courtney) White, Aubri, Garrison (Dominique) White, and Byron; Kathy Bankston and her son Benjamin.

A celebration of Colton’s life will be held on Saturday, December 13th, at 1 pm at Grace Bible Church (700 Anderson St, College Station, TX 77840).

For those that desire, in lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorial gifts given in the name of Colton White to Grace Roots which supports Gospel transformation in under resourced places (graceroots.us) or any pro-life charity of your choice.

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.”
