Conchetta Maria Carpenter, age 49, passed away on January 18, 2026, at approximately 6:58 p.m., at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Conchetta was born on November 11, 1976, in New Orleans, LA.
She was a woman of catholic faith and was raised in a close and loving family. Conchetta was a graduate of Cabrini High School and Xavier University of Louisiana. Conchetta dedicated much of her professional life to serving the community through her employment with the Coke-Cola Bottling Company as a Corporate Manager. She was known for her commitment, strength, and care for others. She lived her life to the fullest. She was always ready to travel and party at the Essence Fest, Jazz Fest, all Mardi Gras Balls. She was a whole vibe.
Conchetta was the daughter of Robert “Bob” Carpenter and Pamelyn Chatman-Carpenter. She is survived by her boyfriend Pete Farinas, her father Robert “ Bob” Carpenter, her brother Robert Leonard Carpenter, her step-brother Lavar Wagner, her step-sister Wanda Wagner, her step-sister Nicole “Tiny” Wagner, her niece MaKayla Wager, her nephew Isaiah Wagner, her godmother Valerie Chatman, her godson Marlin Anderson, her goddaughter Aubrey Grace Chatman, her goddaughter Royal Otummkpo, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and co-workers.
She is preceded in death by her mother Pamelyn Chatman-Carpenter, her step-mother Beverly Wagner-Carpenter, her Grandparents Rose Mary Chatman, Leonard Chatman, Mary Hinton, Henry Summerville and Lula M. Summerville.
Visitation will be held at St. Raymond and St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2916 Paris Ave. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Stanley K. Ihuoma, S.S.J. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3. Arrangements entrusted to Dennis Funeral Home, 1812 Louisiana Ave.
