Not sure what to say?

Heather, Gene and family, please know you're in our prayers today and in days to come! I'll always cherish the funny stories Heather has told Chance and I about Connor. That kid could definitely put a smile on your face! I pray that you can find peace in knowing he is with our Heavenly Father in his perfect body and you will see him again some day!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My nephew Conner may have been a twin, but he was one of a kind. We will miss Conner tremendously and he will always live in our hearts and memories, we love you Conner.

Obituary

Conner's Obituary

Conner Lee Johnson, the legend storyteller, could make anyone laugh and would tell the most outlandish stories using family and friends as his subjects.  No one was safe from being the star of his tall tales.  There was nothing he couldn’t do that everyone else was doing, from swimming and riding the tube at Lake Murray to skiing down a wintry New Mexico mountain on spring break.  He got his first car at age 3 and never slowed down.

Conner had a rough start a birth, but he beat the odds and lived a full life.  He and his twin brother gave this family a new “normal,’ and we embraced it with everything we had. Conner was born February 9, 2007 in Oklahoma City, the son of Billy Eugene “Gene” and Heather Michelle Roden Johnson.

He graduated from Lone Grove High School, the class of 2025.  He was deeply loved by all who were part of his school journey.  Conner gained his angel wings on December 1, 2025.

Conner is survived by his parents, Gene and Heather Johnson, twin brother Logan Riley Johnson; sisters, Brianna Nicole Johnson; Brianna Marie and her husband R.C. Kerbo; Stephanie Lynn and Brittany Wheeler; Katelynn Ann and fiancé Kayden Blansett; his grandparents Dorothea Ann Johnson; Shane and Tammie Rose; great grandfather, Dalton Arthur Ryan; nieces, Avery Michelle Johnson and Nova Jeanette Blansett as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gerald Johnson and Hollis Roden; grandmothers Rita Gayle Ryan and Glenda Sue Pollard.

A celebration of Conner’s life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with Jonathan Morris officiating.  Interment will follow at Newport Cemetery with the assistance of Brianna Johnson, Tyler Eaves, Lillian Roden, Tristen Conway, Trevon Inlow and Michael Roden.

Services are entrusted to Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory where online condolences for the family may be left at www.hdouglasfuneralhome.com.
