She was the life of any setting and she enjoyed her life to the fullest and I sure will miss her . It just don’t seem right that she is gone . My most deepest sympathy to her family on their lost .

Connie's Obituary

Connie Lee Gordon departed life on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 12:45pm. She leaves to cherish her memories, her four children; Demairise (Tanya) Gordon, Charles J. (Tiffany) Taylor Jr, Travena (James) Green, LaChandra Sedonia Taylor; also survived by four sisters, Julia Gordon, Madeline Davis, Gloria Wise, and Merrylene Magee; eight grandchildren Charles J. Taylor III, Xavier Taylor, Karon Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Kimani Taylor, Kendrick Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Karisa Green; and three great grandchildren, A’Mari Robinson, A’Mir Brown, and Nola Taylor. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Gordon Sr. and Evelyn Gordon, two brothers Edward Gordon Jr. and Calvin Gordon and two sisters, Brenda Anderson and Mayetta Stroughter.  Services will be held on February 28, 2026, at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 8817 Hickory St. New Orleans, La 70118. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Providence Memorial Park. New Orleans, La.
