Cosimo Angilletta

Cosimo Angilletta, 86, of Linden, NJ passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation at the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. His funeral begins on Tuesday, February 19th, leaving the funeral home at 9:15 AM for a Funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle Church, Clark-Linden at 10 AM.  Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.

Cosimo was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, lived in Linden since 1991, prior Brooklyn, NY. He was employed as a Construction Laborer for Union Local #20 in NY NY for 26 years retiring in 1989. 

Cosimo served in the Army in Italy.  He enjoyed gardening, and loved his family, and he enjoyed working as well.

Cosimo is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elizabeth (Bruzzese) Angilletta, his 3 loving children, John Angilletta and his wife Noel, Rosemarie Bevilaqua and her husband Raymond, & Anthony Angilletta and his wife Catherine, 4 cherished grandchildren, Salvatore and his wife Stephanie, Stephanie and her husband Michael, Michael and his wife Danielle, and Lisa, 3 great grandchildren, Grace, Enzo, and Michael, (and two arriving shortly), his brother, Dominic Angilletta, and many nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn, 38105-9959,  in his memory would be appreciated.
