Curtis Ellis Knighten, Jr. is the first child born to the union of Curtis and Annie Bell Morrison Knighten. Curtis was born December 26, 1956 to a loving and caring home. He grew up in the First Presbyterian Church of Scotlandville and graduated from Scotlandville High School in 1974.He dedicated his professional career to working in the family business as a painter and drywall finisher. Curtis was a true "Jack of All Trades", and was always willing to use his gift of know-how to help so many throughout his life.Curtis loved football, racing, working on cars and most of all, spending time with his family.He leaves to mourn, in his untimely death, his mother, Annie Knighten LeBlanc; sisters, Renita (Joe) Washington and Barbara Woods; brother, Damon (Monique) Knighten; uncle, Preston Morrison; aunt, Estelle Morrison and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Ellis Knighten, Sr., brother, Rodney Knighten and grandparents, Eddie and Mamie Morrison and Jack and Ernestine Knighten.The Knighten Family and the Management and Staff of Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home, thank you for your kind expressions of sympanthy and support.
