Not sure what to say?

Curt was a second class midshipman (junior) in my squad during my Plebe Year (freshman) at the Naval Academy. Without the Herculean efforts of Curt and Brent Leytem, I would never have survived that year. Given that I spent twenty years as a commissioned officer in the Navy--including four and half years of teaching back at the Naval Academy--I hope that they considered their time in that endeavor to be well spent.

Thank you for your service.

My heart hurts. I'm so sad. He was one of my favorite people. His exes caused him so much stress. He was such a loving father. Loved his kuds/ grandkids more than anything and his mom and sister. I'm in shock and so sad today. I just loved his soul

I’m deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Curt’s We have. passing. I was a teammate with Curt on the Great Valley High School football team. He was a great teammate and a star quarterback! It’s no surprise he was a hero US Marine Pilot. He had a cool demeanor and a true leader. Geez, Curt, you’re gone way way too soon. You will be deeply missed by your great family. Only the good die young. I salute you my friend and quarterback. God bless you friend, rest in peace. xo

Julie and family, there are no words. What an incredible contribution he made to this world, and an incredible legacy he leaves behind. May you feel his love surround you for all the days of your lives. In quiet moments, know he will be there. Not perhaps as you remember or yearn for, but I assure you, he will be with you always. I am so sorry for your loss.

I remember Curt as a kind and gentle guy, a Great Valley classmate of my daughter and son-in-law. My deepest condolences to his family, especially to Sandy. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Curt, #12, in 1971 as the quarterback on the GV Patriots football team.

I am so sad to hear of my old friend's passing. Curt and I graduated together and he was instrumental in pushing me to play football my senior year. I feel blessed to have known him and to have raised a glass with him at our 50 year reunion two years ago. You will be missed Curt.
