Colonel Willett was the Chief Professor of military science of the Army ROTC Corps of Cadets at the University of Georgia when I was a cadet there. I was commissioned in 1975 and retired from the Army in 1998. I remember him fondly. His soldiery bearing and professionalism were an inspiration to me.
