Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother/Grandmother. I only just found out today from another HS friend. Cindy and I were friends in high school and after for many years. I have wanted to reconnect with her (off FB) but time seems to get away from us so quickly these days. My son Jared (Rezk) and Brandon were friends when babies/young. I really wished I had reached out, and as it turns out, I work in a similar field and RIGHT in Lowell a lot of the time, w/that and...

Obituary

Cynthia's Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother Cynthia M. Pynn, 76, of Nashua, NH, on Saturday, December 23, 2023, after a short battle with Cancer. She has peacefully gone to her heavenly home to join her parents Adam & Mildred (Stevens) Plynkofsky, Hudson, and her beloved sister Shirley Campolieto, Virginia.

Born in Nashua, NH on July 25, 1947, she spent most of her life in Hudson, NH. Graduating from Alvirne High School in 1965. She spent a few years in California and another year in Florida before returning to NH to be closer to her family.

Cynthia loved her family and enjoyed spending time at family cookouts, gatherings or activities that her children or grandchildren planned. While raising four children as a homemaker, she enjoyed making puzzles, sewing, ceramics, and going to the beach. As the children grew older, she started part-time work at The Hudson News, she also was employed at Sky Farm Orchard in Hudson, grading and packing apples.

Moving into a more career minded job, she began working for St. John’s Nursing Home in Lowell and then moved to Town and Country Nursing Home, also in Lowell, as a Certified Nurse's Assistant before entering a nursing agency performing home care duties for clients until her retirement at 62 years of age. Her clients were near and dear to her as she cared for their everyday needs.

Her grandchildren were her world, and very important to her. She enjoyed her time with them, whether it was talking, shopping, hanging out, driving them around, or picking them up from friends' houses, school, or even when they were sick, all of which made her day.

One of her favorite yearly activities was attending the Deerfield Fair and spending the day eating, watching shows, and looking at the exhibits with her family. She also enjoyed country music festivals, Tim McGraw, and Gordon Lightfoot music. Stephen King Novels adorn her bookshelves in Hardcover, as he is her favorite author.

In later years she continued her caregiving by taking care of her Aunt Evelyn Poulin as they would go shopping, out to eat, doctors' appointments and socializing. Her love for old homes and antiques were part of the reason she watched “Maine Cabin Masters” and “This Old House”, even if they were repeats.

Cindy will be remembered as a kindhearted person that would do anything for anyone, without hesitation, never asking for anything in return. She was tough as nails, but she wasn’t afraid to let you know when she had had enough.

Cindy was a lifetime member of the Merrimack VFW Auxiliary, Post 8641, in Merrimack, NH, where she enjoyed meeting new people and tending bar for something to do.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Shirley Campolieto of Virginia. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Baron of Merrimack, Matthew Pynn of Mont Vernon, Tyson & his wife Eleanor Pynn of Milford, and Branden Pynn of Milford.

Six grandchildren to include, Kristine, Connor & Seth Baron, Colin Pynn, Raymond Pynn and Cassandra Pynn-Barry. Her sister Patricia Verry, Nieces Beth Campolieto and Jessica Verry, and Nephew, Christopher Verry. Her former husband Barry and his wife Lea Pynn were also important to her as was her Aunt Evelyn Poulin.

Calling hours are from 5 pm – 7 pm, on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Rivets Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH 03054 with a celebration of life to be held in the Spring of 2024.
