Cynthia Ann Seruga
May 9, 1945 - May 3, 2025
Cynthia Ann Seruga, “AKA: The Gatekeeper of Miller Heights,” will probably be remembered by most residents of Bethlehem Township, as the lady that sat outside her house on Linden Street and Willow Park Road and gave a friendly smile and a wave of her hand to anyone that would give her a wave or a honk of their horn in return. You made her day and I thank each and every one of you personally. Her favorite people were the Township’s finest: Police, Fire/Rescue and EMT’s. To me she was my loving sister, best friend and traveling companion across the Southwest. She passed peacefully from advanced dementia with her caretaker and friend JoAnn Gosling by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Goldie Seruga and her father Frank Seruga. She is survived by her brother Frank J Seruga from Foster City, CA.
Family and Friends are invited to Cynthia Ann’s Memorial Service at Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St. Hellertown, PA on May 31st, 2025 at 12 p.m., followed by a luncheon at Blue Grillhouse, 4431 Easton Ave Bethlehem, PA. Please text or contact Frank Seruga 650-281-5399 to confirm who will attend the luncheon to insure menu items will be available by May 27th. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
Donations can be made to the developmentally disabled organization of your choice, in lieu of flowers.

I want to express our condolences from our family for your loss. I just so happened to be on this site for some odd reason and came across Cynthia’s obituary. We did not know her personally, but I live in the township and always turn onto Linden to get to our house. My daughter would always look forward to seeing Cynthia sitting there and always waved to her and just loved how she waved back. When she was no longer there a few years back we were so sad and concerned. To this day my daughter who is now 18 says,” I wonder what ever happened to the lady who waved, I miss seeing her.” Well then by just chance I saw her obituary today! We just want to let you know that she brightened our day with her friendly wave and smile. She is at peace and she will not be forgotten.
