Not sure what to say?

Carolyn and the rest of the Dowdy family, my heartfelt condolences to each of you as you struggle with your loss. May God's love and the love and strength of friends and loved ones sustain you.

TO: Mrs. Dowdy

I first met Dan when I was an intern at the Austin District Office. Always soft spoken and to the point in our talks. Your husband was a rare and very respected supervisor by all of the troopers and myself. He only knew how to be fair. We all loved Dan. May he rest in peace and GOD comfort you and the family. He served the LORD well.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Dowdy, he always had care and concern for others in the church. He was so proud of Carolyn and her music and will always be with her in spirit when she plays beautiful music.
If there is anything at all we can do anytime for you or the family please call on us.
Love you
Kathy and Wayne Hohmann

Sending Prayers from Hobbs, NM Sorry we couldn't make it.... Love,

I had the pleasure of working with Sgt. Dowdy. He was definitely one of the good guys. My sympathy to the family.

I was proud to know Sgt. Dowdy as a young Highway Patrolman. He was fair and enjoyable to work for. Today, nearly forty years later, I still use and attribute to him a management style which he taught me. He was a good man. C

Carolyn and Family:

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My prayers are with you during this sad time. May God bring you peace.
