Dane Allan Corsaut was born on July 13, 1963 at Travis AFB near Vacaville, CA to LaVerne (Vern) Merton Corsaut and Wanda Marie Seale Corsaut.
Dane passed and joined his Dad Vern and his favorite Uncle Clarence to his eternal home on August 4, 2021 at the age of 58.
A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Burkburnett Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Joe Coombes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Dane attended Burkburnett High School class of ’81 before serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and later lived many places including Prescott Valley, AZ, LaJunta, CO, and Pahrump, NV before returning and settling back in Burkburnett in 2006.
Dane lived a carefree life and loved to fish for catfish in the Wichita River and Lake Arrowhead. His other enjoyments in life were bowling, karaoke, and shooting pool.
Dane is survived by his mother Wanda of Burkburnett; wife Norma Jean Corsaut of Santa Ana, CA; six children Dane Allan Jr., Tanya Lynn, and Michael Jordan all of Santa Ana, CA, Aliyah Orosco of LaJunta, CO, and Jordane Kouba and Kayla Kouba of Waseca, MN; his brothers Steven Corsaut and girlfriend Linda Patrick of Burkburnett and Tony Corsaut and wife Lori of Burkburnett; four grandchildren Dane Allan III, Nathan Alexander, Audrey Michelle, and Fernando Jaymes Nava-Corsaut all of Santa Ana, CA; 8 nieces and nephews and many other extended family and friends, including his dear friend Patty Ann Nelson of Graford, TX.
