Daniel Hugh Enox

Daniel Hugh Enox, 76, of Wichita Falls passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Daniel was born on June 30, 1949 to the late Loyd and Wanda (Winbourn) Enox in Wichita Falls. After attending school, he proudly served in the United States Army and later with the United States Air Force. Daniel worked in the oil field for several years and later worked for the City of Wichita Falls as a mechanic. Also, he volunteered his time with the Dean Volunteer Fire Department as a first responder. After many years, Daniel got reacquainted with his childhood friend and they married 2019. Daniel loved to fish and hunt, cook at the family gatherings or anytime his cooking expertise was needed. He loved his family, especially being grandpa to all the grandchildren. He will truly be missed by many family and friends.

Along with his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Bilyeu.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Enox; two sons, Danny Enox and wife, Sharon and Joseph Enox; two daughters, Rebecca Enox and Brandy Scroggins and husband, John; seven grandchildren, Jason Enox, Justin Enox, Kaylie Kinkel and husband, Chris, Brayden Enox, Stephen Enox, Jasmine Loggins and John Scroggins II; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved family members.
