Daniel Salazar passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 28. He was born on July 9, 1997, to Ricardo Salazar Sr. and Victoria Rodriguez.
Mr. Salazar is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alejandro Medina; uncle, Jose Luis Rodriguez and his cousins, Leslie Funes and Hillyboy Gonzalez.
Mr. Salazar is survived by his parents, Ricardo (Antoniette) Salazar Sr. and Vicky Rodriguez (Sonny Aldaco); daughters, Aria Salazar, Deylza Salazar and Carolina Salazar; siblings, Ricardo Salazar Jr. (Janice Uvalle), Alexis Salazar (Ryan Garza), Justin Salazar, Ruben (Jackie) Salazar, Sonny Aldaco II, Trevlynn Aldaco (Manuel Garcia), Ethan Aldaco, Andrew Salazar (Abygale), Reina Salazar, Jenavie Esparza and Isaiah Esparza; paternal grandparents, Francisca and Seferino Salazar; maternal grandparents, Juanita Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Lucia Martinez and his aunt, Blanca Negrete. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
