Daniel E. Sullivan 53, of Sycamore passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at home. He was born July 14, 1971, in Elmhurst, IL and was the son of Robert J. and Elizabeth E. (Drayton) Sullivan.

Daniel graduated from Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL, in 1989, and went on to pursue his studies at the University of Illinois. For many years, he worked as a dedicated laborer at Dawn Manufacturing in Sycamore.

Outside of work, Daniel found pure joy in the simplest of pleasures – whether it was the thrill of a bowling game, watching classic films, or creating something beautiful by building and designing flower boxes. His love for animals, especially dogs, was boundless, and he always had a special connection with them. Whether he was fishing by the quiet waters or out pheasant hunting, these moments brought him peace and fulfillment. Daniel’s warmth, kindness, and passions touched everyone around him, leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

Survivors include; mother Elizabeth Sullivan of Sycamore, daughter Kathleen Sullivan of Indiana, brother David (Susy) Sullivan of Front Royal, VA, sister Carol (Jack) Urbanek of Pittsburgh, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father; Robert and sister Jeanne Bergthold.
