Sorry to hear this news ,have known the whole Tekamp family for many years.All good people.Four of us classmates went on a senior trip,now only two of us our left to tell those stories.You are all in our thoughts.

Cathy & I would like to give our condolences, to the wonderful Tekamp family, Skip was a very nice & humble man! He always had a nice & friendly smile for everyone... and to this day, had the BEST pizza around... Skipper T.

Daniel W. ‘Skip’ Tekamp, age 67, of Coldwater, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home. He was born February 15, 1950 in Celina, to the late Lamar & Mary Gertrude (Kissinger) Tekamp. On August 6, 1989, he married Elaine C. (Borger), who survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by a daughter, Tracy Tekamp of Richmond, British Columbia, a son Ryan & Gail Vornholt of Columbus, brothers and sisters, Janet & Mel Steinbrunner, Carol & Eugene Borger, Gary Tekamp and Wayne & Marlene Tekamp, all of Coldwater and in-laws, Mary & Mert Nottingham of Celina, Phil & Sheryl Borger of Franklin, and Dave & Cindy Borger of Coayers, Georgia. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Borger. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, Coldwater American Legion and was the founding commander and four time past commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Coldwater.
