Danielle was one of the friendliest people I know. I remember running into her this day years ago and it had been years since we´d seen each other. She was so happy, bubbly and caring even though so much time had gone by. I wish I´d kept in better touch,
Danielle was such a bright, loving person and is very missed. It’s hard to believe she’s gone so suddenly. Her family and especially her daughter are in my thoughts prayers.

I was shocked when I heard the news. My thoughts and prayers are heavy with our and your families. Camping was always a blast with you! Hearing you call my name, giving the best hugs and always catching with me about my life. You're already missed Danielle.

Our sweet Danielle Megan Finlay Hunsaker passed away unexpectedly at the age of 29. She left this world on February 14, 2026—Valentine’s Day—a fitting day for her journey home, because to know her was to love her. Danielle exuded love and forever changed those touched by her beautiful spirit.
Born on March 28, 1996, in West Jordan, Utah, Danielle was a radiant light to everyone who knew her. She had a heart that loved deeply, a smile that warmed every room, and a presence that made people feel seen, safe, and cherished. She was a friend to everyone.
Danielle made us smile and laugh. She loved movies and music, diamond art and puzzles. She could throw a perfect spiral every time she touched a football, and she was the one you wanted on your team for horseshoes. She absolutely adored babies and was always found holding them whenever they were nearby. Being a mom was her greatest joy.
Danielle was a devoted mother to her daughter, Scarlett, and a cherished wife to her husband, Tyler Hunsaker, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She was a deeply loving daughter to her parents, Andy and Claudine Finlay, and a beloved sister to her siblings: Britany Egan (Ryan), Jordan Finlay, Layne Finlay (Sarah), and Megan Richards (Ben). Her love created deep, enduring bonds that brought comfort, laughter, and connection, and her absence leaves an ache beyond what words can express.
Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will echo for eternity. We take comfort in knowing that her spirit continues—wrapped in peace, light, and perfect love—watching over those she holds dear.
A memorial service for Danielle will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2700 W 13400 S, Riverton, Utah. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:15 AM.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, to share cherished memories, and to honor the love she so freely gave.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
