Interment will follow at Bowman Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Danny was born on May 5, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Coplin and Juanita (Thompson) Miller. He married Missy Miller, who was his loving wife and lifelong companion on December 31, 1982.
Danny attended Hirschi High School with the graduating class of 1970. He retired from Construction Bolt in 2015 after many years of dedicated service. Earlier in life, he enjoyed playing softball and attending auto races. In later years, he found joy in traveling, spending time with family, spoiling his fur babies Roco and Maggie, and relaxing in his backyard, where he loved mowing the grass.
He dearly loved his entire family, especially his grandchildren. Papa D was their biggest fan, faithfully cheering on the Rider Raiders and the Holliday Eagles, the schools his grandchildren played for. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and genuine love for people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coplin and Juanita Miller; and two sisters, Freda (Sissy) Waltz and Brenda Nix.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Missy Miller of the home; daughter, Dana Foster and husband David of Holliday, Texas; sons, Adam Miller and Troy Miller of Wichita Falls, and Ben and wife Kaitlyn Miller of Devol, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Clayton Miller, Mia Miller, Cason Foster, and Caleb Foster; and one grandchild arriving in March; sister, Mae Fieszel and husband Jimmy; brothers, Terry Miller and wife Debbie, Dennis Miller, and Gerald Miller and wife Judy; parent-in-laws, Patrick and Kay Jackson; brothers-in-law, Ronald Jackson and Dale Nix; many nieces and nephews; and Dana and Adam’s mom, Lori Miller.
