Not sure what to say?

Daphne was a lovely woman. She will be missed by many.

Daphne was a kind woman who’s legacy is apparent in her daughter Linden Jane and the family she helped raise with Lin. I had heard so much about Daphne for many years from Lin, and was glad to finally meet her last year. I know her extended family loved her tremendously and will miss her dearly.

A life well lived. Rest well.

My precious Daphne I still can’t believe you’re gone, Thursday mornings will be so hard without you! I will miss your stories and our laughs. And you telling me “I need glasses “ when I say you look beautiful today! Lynn I’m so sorry , I will be thinking about you in this hard time.

I was truly honored to see Daphne every Thursday morning at our hair salon. She’d been blessing us with her presence since 2015. Daphne had such a sweet spirit and zest for life. We loved hearing her life stories and literally anything she had to say because her accent was just so lovely. She’d never let me make her a tea because we didn’t have a way to boil water at the salon and that was the only way to properly have tea. Thursdays will never be the same! I’ve never met anyone like Daphne...

Such a beautiful woman/ human being. You are all fortunate to have enjoyed her love for such a long time. She will be missed and has a special place in my heart.

Condolences to the family. Daphne had an interesting life. The love for and from family will be passed on to future generations.

My sincere condolences to the family of the lovely “English Rose”, Mrs. Daphne Shanks.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
