Darla Sue Middleton

Darla Sue Middleton, age 33, of Warrenton, MO, tragically passed away on Friday, November 28th, 2025. Darla was a radiant presence, a true ray of sunshine even on the cloudiest days. She greeted everyone with open arms and an infectious smile, making each encounter feel meaningful. Known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, she freely shared her warmth, touching the lives of all who knew her. As a mother, she passed on her spirit of kindness and joy to her daughters. Darla was born on September 17th, 1992, in Columbia, Missouri. She was the daughter of Melissa Middleton and Glenn Mantia, and the beloved twin sister of Marla Pitman. She is survived by her three daughters: Lysa Villasenor, Delilah Sights, and Octavia Wickline; her seven siblings: Marla Pitman, Karla Singleton, Antonio Mantia, Heather Mantia, Brandon Walker, Dakota Werner, and Cheyenne Morgan; her father and stepmother, Glenn Mantia and Kathy Werner Mantia; and a large, loving extended family including many nieces and nephews. Her aunts and uncles include Lori Lambuth, Mark Dillon, and Marcia Villasenor. Cousins include, but are not limited to, Peter, Jazmyne, Scotty, and John Villasenor, as well as Zachary Dillon, Lance Lambuth Dillon, and Christopher Lambuth Dillon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Middleton; her grandmother, Janet Brown; her great-grandparents, Carl and Juanita Brophy; her aunt, Pamela Dillon Maxwell; and her cousin, Jake Jones. A memorial service will be held in her honor in Warrenton, MO.  We invite all who knew her to come together and celebrate the life of a truly extraordinary woman.
