Not sure what to say?

From 1977, to 1984 I had the pleasure to manage the office and crew in Fairmont. I remember Darrel very well. The first thing that came to mind was that he was a man of integrity. Although I was notified of his death just today (02/03/17), Linda and I have prayed for peace and comfort for the family. Thanks for the memories.

Christina and Jason and I are really sorry to hear about Darrell's passing! I have a lot of great memories of Darrell and you together, a lot of sly humor between the two of you, and I always felt like Darrell was a man's man, fun to be around, larger than life - maybe that's why we always called him Uncle Barrel! Delores, you have a lifetime of memories to hold on to - really great ones!! And we're sending our prayers in your direction and hoping that you'll find the great times and memories...

I'm so sorry to hear about Darrel. I met Darrel & you (Delores) at Ingelside while visiting my mother ( Eva Bickel). You were both so friendly & nice! And Darrel. What a joker!!! I knew You were a special couple right away!!! Delores, I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Darrel was happy with having you as his life partner. I could tell that you two were great together!!! My mother Eva and I wish you peace & comfort during this hard time. Eva & Cindy Bickel

Delores and family,so sorry to here of Darrel's passing. I will forever have fond memories of our time at I.E. and the Fairmont Fire Dept.

Delores, Dean, Diana, Deb and the whole family - thinking about all of you during this sad time. Uncle "Barrel" was always so fun to see. I remember boat rides on the lake and I loved his laugh! Take care and hold all of your memories close to your hearts.

My condolences to the family at this time. I always enjoyed visiting with Darrel and Delores when they came to the pork chop feeds at the Northrop Legion. He will be missed by all who ever knew him. Cherish your memories and good times spent with him. God bless.

Love and miss you grandpa! Thank you for all the laughs, hugs and memories.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Delores , Diana , Dean and Deb and extended family. I was blessed to know you all. May you all find peace with your loss.

Darrel was a co-worker and friend of my Dad Emil. I have good memories of Darrel.
I pray that Delores and Family treasure their memories and pray that they be comforted in their loss.
