Darrell's Obituary

Darrell Eugene Hardeman, 48, of Perryton, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Perryton, Texas.  Viewing will be Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, August 4, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Word of Life Church in Perryton, Texas, officiated by Rev. Jeff Hinshaw.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton.   Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Darrell was born on July 11, 1977 in Austin, Texas to Acy Hardeman and Vinita Morgan Hardeman.  He married his wife, Tammy Hardeman, on November 21, 2003 in Austin, Texas.  He and Tammy were soulmates, and they were inseparable.  He spoiled her like crazy!  He loved working in the public, and he loved people.  He worked as a retail salesman and was a very good mechanic, and he was a very hard worker.  He was a good cook and a foody.  He was an avid dragon and eagle collector.  He loved his son Cole very much.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Tammy Hardeman, of Perryton, Texas; his mother, Vinita Hardeman of Perryton, Texas; two sisters, Patricia Hardeman of Austin, Texas, and Kathy Baldonado; three brothers, Adrian Hardeman of Austin, Texas, Jerry Hardeman, also of Austin, Texas, and Acy “Bo Peep” Hardeman of Los Angeles, California; two nephews, Stephen Gipson and wife Haley of Perryton, Texas, and Jovanni Herndon of Perryton, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Dana Welch and Misty Herndon, both of Perryton, Texas; two great-nephews, Tripp Gipson and Winston Gipson; and one great-niece, River Gipson.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father; his mother-in-law Cathy Gipson; his father-in-law, Winston Gipson; and his grandfather, Vertis Stroup.

The family requests memorials be to Ochiltree Cemetery in care of the Ochiltree County Clerk, 511 S. Main, Perryton, Texas, 79070.
