Darryl Lane Lawson, 67, of Stanleytown, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1957, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late Harry Lawson and Evelyn Stevenson Lawson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Brittany Lawson; sister, Gloria Cox; and brothers, Roger Lawson, Danny Lawson, and David Lawson.
Darryl retired from Kroger after many years of service as a butcher. He cherished time with his family, and his greatest joy came from being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Grover (Marcus); his son, Jonathan Lane Lawson (Oliva); grandchildren, Elijah Lawson and Magnolia Lawson; along with extended family and friends.
All services will be private.
