Daryl William Sly, age 47, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born December 26, 1978 in Poplar Bluff, the son of Rusty and Barbara (Gerber) Sly. Daryl married Lindsey (Earle) Sly on August 18, 2016 in Poplar Bluff.
He was a loving father of 7 and a proud pawpaw to 3 beautiful granddaughters. Daryl loved anything outdoor related and when he wasn't fishing or hunting, he spent his time caring for others.
Daryl found his true calling in life after reconnecting with his wife Lindsey. Together they found their calling in healthcare and faith. Faith was a very important part of Daryl’s life, A man with the patience of Job. A very selfless man and a wonderful husband.
Preceding him in death is his mother Barbara Sly.
He is survived by his wife Lindsey Sly of the home, his father, Rusty Sly of Greenville, four children; Timothy Sly-Callison of Texas, Robert Sly-Callison of Texas, Krysten Sly of Farmington, and Cody Sly of Greenville, three stepchildren; Thomas Bristol and his wife Haylee of Texas, Collier Bristol of Poplar Bluff, and Loghan Bristol of Greenville.
Also surviving is his brother Justin Sly and his wife Amanda of Jackson, two stepbrothers; Dalton Sly and David Markham, one stepsister, Christina Morris, three grandchildren; Scarlett Callison, Alora Bristol, and Autumn Bristol along with many other family and friends.
Visitation was held at 5:00 PM Friday at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Greenville. Memorial services followed at 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jack Woodfin officiating.
