Coach Bostian, Jr. ...just happened to think of him this morning and google his name and discover he has passed...I've used the life lessons he taught me when coaching often...he was legit, the real deal...amazing man and influence for me in my life...love you Coach B. rest in peace...

he was my grandpa and he was always nice

I was shocked and saddened to hear about David’s passing. I was a classmate of David’s from 8th grade all the way through college at UNC-W. He was a genuine and and caring person and one of the funniest people I ever knew. Anytime I was with David my stomach always hurt from laughing so much. He once told me that laughing was good for your stomach muscles. That’s David!

Very good man,such an inspiration.

Mr. Bostain was one of the individuals , who made my son’s middle school experience so pleasant . He was such a positive spirit and a very humble and approachable man. Our community has suffered such a great loss. Prayers to his family.

A delight to know, and will always be an inspiration to all of us left here on earth!

I had the great fortune to work with David at Bell South and knew he was a great person to be around and worked with him often . I am truly sorry for your loss.

I first met Coach David in junior high school. From day one he always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. I always looked up to him and always will. This world has lost an Angel and he will never be forgotten. My love and prayers to his precious family.
