I am sorry for the loss of your father, David. I have fond memories of working with your Dad on various projects for St Elizabeth. He was a very nice man who loved his family. so sorry aunt brenda that uncle dave passed away he was a cool uncle funny and always so friendly now he is in gods hands standing next to little dave yesterday we had a hail storm i laughed and said that was dad and uncle dave seeing who could make bigger hail balls always competing with each other just like when the boys played baseball think about that when you see hail falling from the sky i love you aunt brenda i will call you more

David's Obituary

BRAUN, DAVID LEE, SR., 76 of Louisville died October 19, 2014 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a graduate of Flaget High School and a 8 year Veteran of the Naval Reserves. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, S.T.E.M. Club and the St. John's Benevolent Society. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Elfrieda Braun, his son, David Lee Braun, Jr. and his brother, Andrew Braun Jr. His is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, the former Brenda L. Sondergeld, his children; Julie Gruber (Frank), Laura Riggs (David), Andrea Darnell (James), seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his sisters in law, Shirley Sullivan and Georgetta Robertson. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 22 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 East Burnett St. with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM Tuesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues
