David H. Breese, 75, of Montrose, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 17, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on August 28, 1949, in Endicott, NY to the late Harold D. and Leona Violet (Squier) Breese.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Sue (Rosendale) Breese, sister-in-law, Paula Breese, Springville, PA, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pam and Dick Griffis, Cheraw, SC, three nieces, Sara (Rick) Apgar, Dana Ianielli, Beth Griffis, and his buddy Calvin the cat. He was predeceased by his daughter, Amy S. Breese, brother, Dick Breese, in-laws, Miller and Shirley Rosendale.
David was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping which translated to his work with the game commission. He enjoyed sling shots and woodworking, he made many of his own sling shots. He loved to dunk his home-made sugar cookies in his coffee, and watching his favorite TV show, Gunsmoke. David had a wonderful sense of humor.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Schmieg of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in the East Bridgewater Cemetery. Friends may call on the family an hour prior to the service.
