David Terry Clark, age 77 of C J Calico Ln, Blairsville, GA, passed away on Sunday August 3, 2025 following an extended illness.  Mr. Clark was born on November 3, 1947 in Stockbridge, GA, the son of the late Robert Clark and the late Gertrude Miller Clark.  David was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He enjoyed grafting apple trees, restoring cast iron pots and pans, and spending time on his farm, tending his large garden, as well as hunting and fishing.  David was a USMC veteran and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was in a Marine Corps band, playing both horn and bugle. He had an amazing ear for music and could read a piece once and have it memorized immediately. Mr. Clark was proceeded in death by a brother, Robert Clark.

Surviving Mr. Clark are his loving wife and best friend, Susan Baron of Blairsville, GA, four children: Vicki, Kelly, John, and Scott; two stepdaughters: Adrienne and Lyia, one brother: Eddie, and lifelong friend and loving cousin, Joyce. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His wife would like to thank his neighbors Judy, Carolyn, Jeff, and Stephanie who provided immeasurable help and support while he traveled the rough road of terminal illness and continue to help her during this time of grief.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (mcsf.org) or Marine Corps Toys for Tots (toysfortots.org) in Mr. Clark’s memory.
