David M. Craft Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. David Craft, 81 of Anniston, will be on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplain Jim Wilson officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunny Eve Baptist Church Cemetery.Mr. Craft passed on October 29, 2013 at Regional Medical Center.Mr. Craft is survived by his loving and caring wife of 17 years, Violet Craft, daughters, Karen Russo and Connie Mandac, grandchildren, Tyler Mandac, Shea Kelley and Vincent Russo, great grandchildren, Lacey Mandac, Lyla Mandac, Dagen Mandac, and Ana Kelley, four step sons, one step daughter, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded on death by his parents, David and Mary Craft, four brothers and one sister.Mr. Craft served proudly in the Air Force for 20 years where he served two tours to Vietnam. While serving our country, he was an air craft mechanic and a crew chief. He was a handy man who could fix anything around. He had a green thumb so working in the garden was something he enjoyed doing. He loved clocks and had a sense of humor that was infectious. Mr. Craft always had something funny to say and could put a smile on anyone's face. He loved his wife and family and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
