Not sure what to say?

I worked with Dave during my time as trainmaster at Manassas. Dave was a true "gentle giant" and a very good conductor. My condolences to the family.

Dave and I were both hired on Southern Railway at the same time in 1975 and a couple of years later 'took our rights' at the same time to become conductors. We didn't work on the same crews together much, but for a good while, we worked separate locals that connected at Strasburg. He was widely respected as a conductor and was a dedicated railroader. My sincere condolences to your family on his passing.

Rest easy. You are in pain no more. You are niw perfect standing at God's side, with your parents as well as all before you. Prayers for your Family and friends. May God comfort them, yet know you are at peace.
