Sutton, NH-David D. Doran, Jr., 62, of Meetinghouse Hill Road, South Sutton, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 . He was born in Summit, NJ on May 5, 1952 the son of David D. and Patricia (Culbertson) Doran, Sr. He graduated from Staples High School, Westport, CT and attended Grahm Junior College in Boston. Dave was an independent contractor working in the Lake Sunapee Region. He was also a talented bass player who played with the jazz group, "Great Legs" and country-rock group "Night Kitchen" as well as the group "Waste Band". He had resided in Sutton since 1969. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia and a sister, Barbara. Members of his family surviving include his wife of 18 years, Christine (Dunphy) Doran of South Sutton, NH; a son, Jason Doran of Sutton, NH; a granddaughter, Hayle; his father and stepmother, David and Elaine Doran, Sr. of FL; a sister and her husband, Deborah and Mark McCowen of San Diego, CA; a stepdaughter and her husband, Sage and Lee Morton of Orange, CT; a stepson and his wife, Stephen and Christine Makowsky of Anchorage, Alaska; six stepgrandchildren; a niece, Patricia Scala; cousins; a stepsister, Allison Nussbaum McCoy and a stepbrother, Jonathan Nussbaum.Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 P.M.
