Not sure what to say?

I knew Dave at NJIT, where we played on the same intramural sports for a couple of semesters. He was a really nice guy who would always say hello whenever our paths crossed on campus. I was not surprised to read all about his involvement in the community. My sincere condolences to his family.

Janet, Sara and Caroline, The D'Orvilliers Family is devasted to learn of Dave's passing. You're family was one of the first that we met in the neighborhood, Dave was a Dad, full of fun for the kids. I know that there are no words that will fill the void. Sue & Marc

Dear Janet, I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. Having worked the last 6 years with him at Roehm he grew to be not just colleague but a friend. Dave and I were texting all summer while he was sick. More of him checking on my dad because he knew he was having heart surgery. This showed what a great person Dave was even though he himself was dealing with cancer he always checked in with me to check on my dad. Completely selfless till the end he will be sorely missed. You and your...

Dear Janet,

I regret never getting the opportunity to meet you, but Dave always spoke fondly of you and your daughters. I was honored to work with Dave over the last several years. I am heartbroken for you and family over Dave's way too soon passing. I very much enjoyed working with him and grew to respect him greatly over that time. He was a very genuine man whom I grew to depend on for his extensive knowledge and experience that he freely shared with me. He seemed to really...

Janet, Sara, Caroline I am so sorry for your loss. I met Dave through work in 1989 and can honestly say he remained the same person throughout the years, intensely focused when resolving an issue and amiable, affable and gregarious all other times. He held all of you in very high regard, always speaking warmly and lovingly about his family.
He was a friend and mentor to me and anyone else who chose to accept his hand. Sometimes we referred to Dave as Papa Bear Gmyrek because of the...

Dear Janet,

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working under David’s leadership for the past two years, and even in that relatively short time, it was clear why he was such a respected fixture at Roehm for over four decades.

He often spoke of you, Sara, and Caroline with such pride. Please know that his Roehm family is mourning alongside you and that his legacy here will never be forgotten.

Thinking of you and your daughters,

David was a kind, decent, generous man, and a good neighbor who will be dearly missed. Our deepest sympathies to the Gymrek family.

Janet, Sara and Caroline,
We are so sorry for Dave's passing. What a good husband and father to you all. Although we didn't see you all as much as the kids got older we always considered the Gymrek's friends.
I'm sure he and Gus are taking walks together again. Dave will be missed. Rest in peace.

Dave, Sue and Mackenzie Deane

Sara, sending our sincerest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. Sending big hugs and our prayers. ❤
