Not sure what to say?

David was truly a good friend who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He will be truly missed. "weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning."

My heart is filled with wonderful memories of time shared with David at so many great family gatherings through the years. Love and Blessings to each of you. Aunt Tee

David's Obituary

David Jeffery Grayson, Sr. died Monday, March 28, 2022, at the age of 58. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Early in his childhood his family migrated to Erie, Pennsylvania where he completed his primary and secondary education.

He attended Academy High School where he excelled in both wrestling and football.

He had a special talent for sales and worked in this industry. As an entrepreneur, he created Grayson’s Imperial Imports and Special Ops Hobby Shop.

An avid sports enthusiast, he dedicated his time and talents to children in the community as a football, soccer, and basketball coach. He loved to win but was most interested in assisting the young athletes with both individual and team development. He enjoyed building and racing remote control cars and airplanes. He had a passion for sports cars, fashion, travel, and a good cigar. He considered himself to be a grill master and spent many evenings perfecting the craft to the delight of everyone. Most of all, he loved his family and friends and was known to bring a special spark to any gathering.

David was baptized early in his youth. As a member of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church he served on the usher board and as a minister in training. While in Clovis, NM he was installed as a deacon at the Central Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarette (Davis) and Earl Grayson, and siblings, Galen Grayson and Vicki Grayson.

He leaves to cherish his memory Anne Barnwell-Grayson, devoted wife of 27 years, sons, Tyler Scott, William Alexander(Angela), David Jeffery, Jr., daughter, Jocelyn-Margarette, granddaughters, Storie Anne Grace and Nari Eliora Kim, brother, Anthony Earl Grayson (Patty), and sister, Caren Shamae Grayson.
