Not sure what to say?

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. To our friend, Dave.

We first met Dave in Jackson, Tennessee. He and Denise were attending services at the First Presbyterian Church and we started talking, which led to a friendship of many years. We tried to keep up with each other's lives after they moved away, even though distance made things harder. We're sending love and condolences to his family, may he rest in peace, safe in the arms of Jesus.

Dave and I were double cousins (our fathers were brothers, and mothers were sisters). He was huge in my growing up years, as we saw each other essentially every Sunday while visiting our mutual grandparents. We even roomed together for a couple of years after college. Toured Wisconsin on bicycles, canoed the Boundary Waters. Dave was a solid dude. Even though we lost touch over the years, it's hard to know he's gone now. But I know where he's at - I'll catch him in heaven - he just beat...

Denise, Melissa, Rhonda and families. Dave loved you and enjoyed spending time with you. He was such a special person, joking around, a competitor at golf and especially at bags game. Wishing you peace and comfort. Love to you all! Mike, Annette and Phoebe Mittermeier.

So sorry for your loss. The whole family is in our thoughts and prayers. All our love your cuz.

Grew up next door to Dave and the Hartz family in Newton. Lots of memories playing Basketball with him and Rick. Will always remember those fun times.

Denise our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Over the years our visits were few with the miles between us. Dave was always the same. Quiet, reserved and always had a smile. We will always cherish the memories.

I had the privilege of working alongside Dave for 12 years at the Maytag Dishwasher plant in Jackson, TN. During that time, I came to know him not only as a coworker but, more importantly, as a friend. Dave was well respected and genuinely liked by everyone he worked with. I was always impressed by his calm demeanor and the kindness he showed to everyone he encountered—never a harsh word, always level-headed.

I truly valued our conversations at work and the time we spent together...

Dave was a great mentor; had the pleasure to work with him for over 21 years. I've missed working with him for the past 16 years. Miss his wit' and wisdom. We called him "Master Hartz". He dominated as a Designer, He was looked up to as a resource for the different facets of Design and we know he loved golfing! Deepest Sympathies to Denise and his family!
