David's Obituary

David Scot Hogeback Sr., 56, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away on December 1, 2022. David was born March 16, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The family moved to Florida when David was still a young child. He attended Bartow High School, continuing to live his life primarily in Polk and Hardee counties. David was an industrial engineer and a member of the International Brotherhood of the Boilermakers Union. He was a huge history buff, a die-hard sports fan, and quite a car enthusiast. He was happy to share his vast knowledge with anyone who would listen and was a tremendous help with crossword puzzle answers. Those who knew David knew he could be stubborn and hard-headed, but underneath that hard exterior lay a good heart. He did his best to help anyone who needed him and rarely said no. David was preceded in death by his mother Joann Corson Hogeback and his brother Richard "Dicky" Hogeback. David is survived by his son David Scot Jr., (Cheyenne), and three grandchildren, Riley, Bella, and Cody Hogeback. His father George, sister Jennifer, and brother Gregory Hogeback, along with many other extended family members and friends. He will be missed.
