Not sure what to say?

So saddened to hear that David has passed away. He was always a pleasure to work with. I'll always remember our conversations about our families, his community (especially after the tornado in 2013) and of course, the St. Louis Cardinals. I enjoyed his daughter's artwork which he proudly displayed in his office. He most definitely was a "good guy". I have missed him since he left Evonik.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Heartfelt condolences to the family & friends. If you had seen and worked with David, you would have never expected such untimely demise. He was vibrant, full of vigor and energy with positive outlook on life. Kudos to those who wrote such an elaborate & fitting obituary with an interesting title “celebration of life”. Will cherish his memories, having worked with him at Evonik/ Degussa/ Goldschmidt at Mapleton, IL.
Rest in Peace ☮

Enjoyed working in the Mapleton PDSU under David’s direction, where he was always encouraging and supportive of others input. Often shared stories of his family, especially his daughters and what they were involved in. So sorry to hear of David’s passinggone much too young.

Although I only knew David for the short time I worked with Callie in Connecticut their home was always warm, welcoming and full of love. He will be missed by many.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Callie and family.
