Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. I will always remember Mr. Kennedy driving through the neighborhood with the golden duck on the hood. Super nice and always helpful. A terrible disease this Alzheimer's is, god bless Mr. Kennedy.

David Scott Kennedy, II, age 86, of Exton, PA, formerly of Malvern, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Exton. He was the husband of Margaret Risk Kennedy of Exton, Pa., with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. David was born on April 10, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Francis S. and Agnes Kirkpatrick Kennedy. He was a 1947 graduate of Radnor High School in Wayne, Pa.; a 1948 graduate of Murrell Dobbins Vocational-Technical School in Philadelphia, Pa.; and a veteran of the U.S. Army. David worked as an auto mechanic for the Raymond P. Scott Auto Dealer, and also provided auto mechanic service to many friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Paoli Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife Margaret, David is survived by sons Scott Kennedy (Becky) of Exton, Pa., and Craig Kennedy of Exton, Pa., and daughter, Sandy Seery (Russ) of Lincoln University, Pa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's life celebration service on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Paoli Presbyterian Church, 225 South Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301. A visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
