Not sure what to say?

Day buddy, been a while since I talk to you, as a matter of fact, we were talking on FaceTime talking about all the things we did when we were Truman and we both pledge TKE I don’t know what happened I don’t really wanna know he just seems like the older we get the closer we get to those that we used to say we’re so old. Don’t worry I’m right behind you. I wish I had the motivation you did you were always doing something and I was laying on my bed worrying about something my grandson had a...

Dave was an amazing man, so incredibly kind, loving, creative and brilliant. I will forever miss our conversations and him as he was a light in this world. It is with great sadness that he is no longer here to share his love of life.

Although I haven’t seen Dave in years, Dave was a truly a great guy and always had a smile on his face. Many prayers to his family.

David's Obituary

Ketcherside, David Sean, passed away, Monday, March 17, 2025.

Loving father of Carlye and Alli Ketcherside. Beloved son of Joella and the late James Ketcherside. Brother of Diane (Barry) Ritter, Mike (Meg) Ketcherside, Gigi (Alan) Pace, Julie (Steve) Willis, Lisa (Mark) Rodgers and Shari (Chris) Berra. Former spouse and devoted friend of Debbie Ketcherside. Uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

David was born on January 24th, 1967. He grew up in Ballwin, Missouri, attended Lafayette high school and was a TKE at Truman University. Growing up, he was a competitive swimmer, a swim coach, and a lifeguard. Dave had a deep love and passion for music of all genres; he played guitar and wrote music of his own. Dave was an entrepreneur at heart and was full of creativity! Beyond marketing, he used his insightful wisdom to write the book "The Whole Dude", not only to foster kindness but as testament of his giving spirit. Dave was very spiritually connected throughout the community and formed many incredible relationships as the founder of AwakenSTL. Dave was a deep thinker and was a forever student seeking the philosophy of life. In addition to his spiritual depth, there was also a gentle and playful nature to him. Dave liked playing poker with family and friends and hosted the DASA poker tournament for many years. Dave enjoyed traveling, seeing live music, and watching movies with his girls. At the core of his being was his commitment to his family. He was an extremely dedicated and present father to his two daughters, always offering a listening ear, an open heart, and reassuring divine wisdom. Dave was the ultimate dreamer, believer, and optimist - not only for his own life, but as a guiding light for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all of those who love him.
