Not sure what to say?

David was a true friend . I really do miss him and one day we will be together again Miss you man.

There's no way to tell the future. You left way too early. You came to us as a green horn. But the important thing about you was that you listened, observed and learned. You always followed the rules and like your Dad you made friends and everyone liked you. My second son, Eric, truly admired you and took your friendship to heart. You were raised by wonderful parents and you made them proud. You treated those who followed you as you were treated and that's one of God's greatest...

On behalf of Gwen, Julius and the entire staff of Tiger Lounge in Houma, we offer our sincere heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends of Capt. Dave, who we considered a big part or our own family at Tiger's. We will miss Dave and the joy he brought to us all. ❤

Rest In Peace, So sorry for the family loss.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of David's family! He was a wonderful person who will be missed by all!

Capt Dave, I would not be where I am today without your help and compassion. You are what some people call a true friend, but I call a brother. You have no idea what you meant to me while on earth. I hope when you get to the pearly gates, and your book is read, you will know how much you meant to me.RIP my Friend!!

I am still in shock, I worked with David at the Sheriff's office motor pool till he retired. He would come to visit us very often and i would always tell him how much we missed him. But i always knew we would see him the following week, and we would. So many times he had us laughing so much.I enjoyed working with him very much. He will be missed. He was a great guy and a great boss. Rest in Peace David.

My condolences to the family, RIP ol friend

Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.

David's Obituary

David Anthony LeBoeuf, Sr., of Houma, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the age of 57.

LeBoeuf, Jr., of New Orleans; Ryan Matthew LeBoeuf and wife, Katie Porche LeBoeuf, of Houma; and Brooke LeBoeuf Martin, and husband Dex Martin, also of Houma; and grandchildren, Alyson McElroy, Max LeBoeuf, and Ben LeBoeuf. He is also survived by his siblings; Roxanne LeBoeuf Breaux; Jayne LeBoeuf Usie, and husband, Euia; Denise LeBoeuf Dryden, and husband Fritz; Jerome LeBoeuf, and wife Sandra; and Jackie LeBoeuf Gonsoulin, and husband Jon; and his many beloved nieces and nephews.

David retired as a Captain of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office after twenty-seven years of dedicated service. In his years with the Sheriff’s Office, he moved up the ranks from deputy to detective, and ultimately, to captain. In his many years serving the citizens of Terrebonne Parish, Captain LeBoeuf, made many friends who were an extended family to him.

"Capt. Dave" enjoyed woodworking and gardening, and he was an accomplished cook, often called upon to use these talents for charitable organizations and benefits around Houma and beyond. When not helping others or playing with his grandchildren, he could be found cheering on the New Orleans Saints and his NASCAR hero, Kyle Busch, famously with a cold Bud Light in hand.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him, particularly his friends at Jude-O’s Bayou Tavern.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
