David B. Marden

David was one of the first staff members I met as a freshman in college. He was warm, kind, and authentically himself in a way that rubbed off on others. I am so lucky to have spent time with David. David made himself available to the community of students and I can tell how much he cared for the people around him. I am sending love and strength to all those who had the honor of loving David.

David was an amazing human being and a work friend who spread love to everyone. The last time I saw him was on the campus bus ride home, and I didn't say hi because I noticed him too late at my bus stop. I regret not saying hi and sitting down with him, even if it was only for a little while. He brought joy to my day and made going to the office a treat. Rest in power, David.
