A message to Mary and family: I was just informed of Dave’s passing. Sending our heartfelt condolences. Dave hired me at Rockford Life in 1974 and we made many memories in the 13 plus years we worked together. Life took us in different directions, but I always considered him a friend with his big smile and contagious laugh. Sorry that he is gone, but not forgotten.

Just remembering my Uncle David.
First off, he was more than an uncle as he was just 7 years older than me. So, we were more like friends than uncle and cousin. My Grandfather (Lou), Grandmother (Theresa), and Uncle David for the longest time lived in the same city as our family. My Grandfather, Grandmother, and Uncle David visited often, or we went to their home. We would play just like most boys, baseball, football and other things. One memorable time we were having a pillow fight...

So sorry to hear.Many weekends spent with your family in Shirland and even one trip to St. Louis after you all moved. Please know That your whole family in my thoughts and prayers.

I will never forget Dave as a caring compassionate man dedicated to his wife and family. A great boss at RLIC as well. He was a groomsman in our wedding and a very special friend . Our sympathies to his family . God bless you all.
