David Nierman Obituary
David W. Nierman, 79, passed away November 19, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis on October 9, 1943. David graduated from Southport High School where he was a stellar athlete. He worked for Eli Lilly in Capsule Production. David was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Toast Masters, Hendricks County Leadership and Kingsway Christian Church. He was also a Veteran of the US Army and a dedicated I.U. Fan. David was preceded in death by his parents, Walter “Mike” and Evelyn Spangler Nierman. He is survived by his wife, Alice Hadley Nierman; children, Monica (John) Miner and Megan (Andy) Miller, John (Kelly) Huguenard; step children, David (Rhenda) Mood and Eric (Tonya) Mood; grandchildren, Mollie and Sarah Miner, Evelyn, Lila and Mason Miller, Ryan, Katy, RJ and Connor Huguenard, Tanner Mood, Haley (Drew) Reiger, Rilee (Doug) Abney, MacKenzie (Abe) Thompson and Duel Mood; Sister, Marilyn Teeter and Brother, Gary "Gus" Nierman. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday 1pm November 23, 2022 at Conkle Funeral Home Avon with Visitation 11am-1pm before the Service. Contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Danville.
