David's Obituary

David Bernard Peyerk, 73 years old of Ubly, passed away peacefully on 

October 15, 2025 at Genesys Adult Foster Care Home of Ubly.

David was born on March 8, (the crooked one) 1952 to the late Joseph and Edna M. (Talaski) Peyerk Sr.

David enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his bicycle, going fishing, bowling and playing basketball with the Special Olympics. He enjoyed helping with yard work and was always very polite. He loved to shake hands and everyone he met was his friend.

David is survived by his two brothers; James (Janis) Peyerk of Cass City, and Alvin (Nancy) Peyerk of Ruth. He also leaves behind six sisters; Donna (Bob) Geiger of Bad Axe, Janet (Tom) Danielski of Sterling Heights, Mary (Gary) Meharg of Yale, Suzanne (Dale) Stanton of Emmett, Rita (Richard) Jackson of Bad Axe, Barb (Rick) Rifenbark of Bad Axe; his sisters-in-law Vivian Peyerk, Margie Peyerk, Berniece Yochim, and many nieces and nephews; 

Along with his parents, David was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Viola (Ray) Polega, Clarence (Lois) Peyerk, Joseph Peyerk, Jr., Genevieve (Matt) Hupfer, Sylvester Peyerk and Eugene Peyerk.

 

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic church (St. Hubert Parish) Monday October 20th, 2025 at 12:00PM with Fr. Yesu Mulakaleti officiating, burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rapson.

 

Visitation will be take place Monday October 20th, 2025 at 10:00am until time of service at Sacred Heart Catholic church (St. Hubert Parish).

 

The family wishes to thank Riverview adult foster care home of Cass City, community links where David was a parishioner of St. Hubert Catholic Church ,Paula and Rick Bolton for the 20 years of loving care given to their brother, and also Genesis in Ubly for his last 3 years of excellent care.
