David's Obituary

Attica - David Michael “Mike” Roach Jr., 47, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 3:47 p.m.    Mike, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on August 27, 1977.  He was the son of David Michael Roach of Attica and the late Marilyn Faye (Hill) Roach.  Mike was a life resident of Attica.    Mike formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company.      He had attended Christ Gospel Church in Attica.  He enjoyed watching the wildlife and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.    Mike was formerly married to Amy Elkins and they had three children, Nathaniel Roach, Paris, IL; Tyler Roach, Attica and Ashley Roach, Clinton, IN.  He also leaves behind his father, David M. Roach, Attica; a sister, Tammy (Shane) Knechel, Attica; a brother, Sam Roach, Attica; two grandchildren, Aden & Liam; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and great nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Roach.    Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, September 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Scroggins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Gospel Church.
