So sorry to hear of Davids passing. We went to school together at Como-Pickton. He was kind and funny and I have many fond memories of those days. My thoughts are with all his friends and family during this difficult time.

David Marshall Ruggles, of Elmore City, passed away March 8, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years.
David was born May 23, 1964 in Winnsboro, Texas to Dale Marshall and Berna Dean (Alexander) Ruggles. He grew up in east Texas and is a graduate of Como Pickton High School in Como, Texas. Elmore City has been his home for over 30 years. On January 10, 1994, he and Barbara Ann Amos were married in Elmore City, Oklahoma at the home of his parents. He worked as a Rancher. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and taking care of the little calves. David was a member of Lonesome Dove Baptist Church in South Lake, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; a niece, Brittany Parrish; and son Clifford Gibson, Jr.
Surviving family include his wife, Barbara of Elmore City; children, Christy McCauley of Wynnewood; Kimberly Gibson of Norman; Christopher Gibson of Pauls Valley; Roger Gibson of Durant; and Cynthia Jones of Pauls Valley; his parents, Pastor Dale Marshall and Berna Dean Ruggles of Elmore City; two brothers, Kenny Ruggles and Dwight Dean Ruggles and wife, Debra, all of North Richland Hills, Texas; one sister, Datha Parrish and husband, Donny, of Conway. Arkansas; nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren & one on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Dale Marshall Ruggles and Dwight Dean Ruggles. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
