My condolences to the Silva Family. I knew all the family because we were neighbors. Went to the same schools, we were good friends . Blue was a nice guy with a great sense of humor. RIP David.

I had the honor of meeting David (Blue ) Silva while attending San Benito High School . He will be missed by all that knew him and be grateful for his contributions to our city and community. May God bless his entire family in this time of sorrow. My sincere condolences to all his family.

David Silva Sr. and his family have been a part of my life since my early childhood days at Rio Hondo Baptist Church. From there, we transitioned to Christian Fellowship, where his son David, his daughters Cece and Lisa, my sister Heather, and I grew up together—watching one another create families and lifelong memories.
