Special thoughts and prayers for Talsma family. Can't imagine the pain you are going through. May Our Heavenly Father wrap his loving arms around your family and extended family in the days, months ahead. Didn't know David personally but share the connection through Hudsonville Community, Hudsonville Christian School and Unity. God bless you and give you peace during this very difficult time. Our church sang the song 10,000 reasons during our Am service in memory of your son David....

The busy time of shock, making decisions and doing what had to be done NOW is over and reality sets in. How tough it will be to face life ahead (good or bad) without your precious David. Many prayers will be there for you. Friends and family will think of you but your pain is basically yours alone as life for others becomes their lives with its busyness. Always God is there for you to cry to.

David Talsma, age 13, of Hudsonville, who was taken too soon, ran into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, August 3, 2015. He is incredibly loved and epically missed by his parents, Jason Talsma and Kristin Talsma, his sister, Aliya Talsma; his step parents, Randi Lynn Talsma, Gerry DeGraaf; his step brothers and sister, Castor Dempsey, Ashlee, Parker, Tucker, Spencer DeGraaf; his grandparents, Larry and Mary Aldrink, Richard and Kathy Talsma, Sheri Spyker, Willard and Marcia DeGraaf; his great grandmother, Beatrice Aldrink; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of David's life will be held on Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Daybreak Community Church, 3501 Baldwin Street, Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Rev. Steve Spitters officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the Daybreak Community Church on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Strides for Life.
